The packages are useful starting points, not a one-size-fits-all recommendation. Our online tool gives an indicative option based on your roof and choices; the free survey then confirms the best panel layout, system size and final price.

Do I need a battery with solar panels?+

No. A solar-only system can still generate electricity for your home and export any surplus. A battery is an option if you would like to store energy for use later; whether it is suitable depends on your household and goals.

What can I monitor once the system is installed?+

Your Hanchu system includes app and online monitoring so you can see your generation, battery status and household energy information. Your HEG portal also keeps key handover documents together.

Will the online package price be the final price?+

It is an indicative guide. The final design and price are confirmed after the survey, once roof condition, access, usable panel area, scaffolding requirement and electrical work have been checked.

How long does a home solar installation take?+

The exact programme depends on the design and site, but the installation plan is explained before work begins. We also coordinate the agreed access and scaffolding arrangements with you.
